Oregon, I hate you!!!

So, I have to drive from Boise, ID to Portland, OR..... 7 hour drive, right? Well, that's boring and I want to get there.. So I set my cruise control to 85 and off we go.... I get pulled over by a cop who's driving an undercover SUV. His question to me is... "Do you have any legal justification as to why you are not following the legally posted speed limit of 65?" That's a trick question.... Legal justification??? Is there such a thing as a legal justification to breaking the law? STUPID! Anyway, my ticket was supposed to be $474.00...... Let that sink in .... Almost $500 for SPEEDING!! Instead he was such a gem and gave me a ticket for ONLY $290.00. Thank you Sheriff Mitchell.. I shall forever be indebted to you... God Bless.... I HATE YOU RIGHT NOW OREGON!!!

    I was asked the same question last time I was pulled over in Oregon. I think it's a script they all have to use or something.
