Who are these people? School Nazi's?

Who are these people? For real???? Parents can no longer excuse their own children's absences? What is this? I can carry, birth, and be trusted with caring for all of my child's needs.... But I can't excuse them from a day of school? What the hell is that all about? Kids are only allowed 5 unexcused absences a year, and every other absence needs a doctor's note?...... And let's not talk about Registration Day. We waited in a line outside in the 100 degree weather for over an hour to finally make it to the front of the line and the possibility of air conditioning.....and.... DENIED! You are not allowed past the middle school Hitler (who's desk set up blocks the entrance) without the appropriate paperwork showing that your child has had the appropriate immunizations. I literally had to stand to the side, call my doctors office, and have them fax a statement proclaiming that I did indeed have an appointment for her to receive these shots...... Then, and only then were we granted the holy access to register for the 7th grade.... THAT SHIT IS RIDICULOUS!!!
